Highlights of this design

Classic Design

This is the original Dave Ellis 1801b, designed by Dave with a Dennis Murphy crossover. What started out as a DIY design built by many people, this design was turned over to Salk Sound when Dave decided to no longer offer it himself.

Hiquphon Tweeter

Features the incomparable 3/4" Hiquphon dome tweeter for super-smooth, non-fatiguiing treble.

Seas Exel W18 Woofers

The magnesium-coned W18, one of Seas' finest offerings, is renowned for its midrange detail. If it is in the recording, you will hear it.

Pinpoint Imaging

You can easily located each performer in space for a very realistic presentation. If a small monitor was ever an over-achiever, this one definitely qualifies.
